Friends, let's celebrate this emergent age of information! We are becoming aware of what it is to be a conscious species, and the custodians of a planet.

"Zeitgeist Information Inspiration" is the first in a series of bimonthly parties, and informative seminars. Facilitated by The Zeitgeist Movement to further the awareness of our current transition, and get the message of our positive future out, for the growing number of people... that are loosing faith in the current system.

The current decline in civilization and the resulting necessity to rebuild our world opens new pathways for creative expressions to reflect our time. Beyond revolution, we are becoming aware of the natural evolution of the human species.

A cover of $10 will include entry to the seminar, from 6 pm till 7:30 pm, and the after party, until 12 am. Plus a DVD information pack.

The Zeitgeist Movement is the activist and communications arm of The Venus Project. We are a global decentralized, and truly grass-roots movement, establishing a comprehensive communications network world wide. We have roughly half a million official members, and many millions more who are aware of the direction we advocate. This has been accomplished in little more than two years, and looks set to become one of, if not the fastest growing and most influential movements in human history.

The basic pursuit of The Movement is to begin a transition into a new, sustainable social design called a “Resource-Based Economy”. This term refers to an economic structure based exclusively on strategic resource management as the starting point for all relevant decisions.

Today's communications technology is transcending outdated economic ideologies, beliefs and cultural indoctrination's. It is the catalyst for a brighter understanding of life. In the coming years we will see the fabric of so called established knowledge evaporating, exponentially. All systems, whether they be knowledge, society, technology, philosophy, or any other creation, will undergo fluid perpetual change when uninhibited. It is only a matter of time before ideas are updated, changed or eradicated. Our current technical reality can provide a very high standard of living for all people. The unnecessary human suffering, and waist, of working five days a week is no longer required with our present day knowledge.

The premise upon which this system is based is that the Earth is abundant with plentiful resource, and clean, sustainable energy; our practice of rationing resources through monetary methods is irrelevant and counter productive to our survival.

When we recognize the creative potential of a Resource-Based Economy, we understand that aligning ourselves with natural processes is the most progressive and productive disposition we can have. We propose a fresh approach, one that is dedicated to human and environmental concerns. It is an attainable vision of a bright and better future, one that is appropriate to the times in which we live, and both practical and feasible for a positive world for all people.

We realize to make the transition from our present culture, which is politically incompetent, scarcity-oriented and obsolete, to a new, more humane society will require a quantum leap in both thought and action.
